Right now, there are lots of amazing dogs at Tails waiting for someone like you to take them home. Dogs who want to find a new best friend, a family and a happy forever!

Big or small, young or old, all dogs deserve a family to call their own! If you've been considering adding a four-legged family member, this is your sign to stop by this month to meet your new best friend!

The love of a pet changes everything! Share all the ways your adopted pet has changed your life with us and your story could help us earn up to $100,000 in lifesaving funds from Petco Love! That's right! Your adoption story could change the lives of homeless pets! 

Stories should explain how the pet that you adopted at Tails has made an YOUR life better, and should be a celebration of the love you share with your pet. Stories can range from the simplest things that bring joy to life every day to one-of-a-kind, extraordinary stories. Big or small, short-or long-haired, canine or feline, celebrate how your pet has significantly changed your life for the better!

Adoptable Pet Spotlight: Pumpkin

Hello! My name is Pumpkin. I came to Tails in pretty rough shape earlier this year, but thanks to their help I am finally healthy enough to find a forever home! I'm a sweet, almost 2 year old girl and I LOVE to play! Since I get so excited about playing, I do best playing with other dogs my size or bigger. I'm looking for a home with no small animals or young kids so I can be my exuberant self! I do have some lifelong health issues, so a loving family who will take good care of me is a must. My adoption fee has been waived to make it easier for you to take me home! What do you say? Are you ready for a game of tug? Let's do it!!
